Rainy Day at the Park

Hey all! I figured out how to make the pics on an entry larger! :-D They look so much better when they're bigger.

Anyway, a few days ago during a break in the rain, my two younger brothers and I went for a walk in the park to find a lot of water, lol. I took these pics on the way. I hope you like them!

Oh, and yes, I seem to like to take pictures when the sky is dreary. :P

This is the path......lol.

Which no-longer exists (for the moment)

Siblings! Minus my sis.

Little brother pretending to be a Marine, lol.

The path is in there somewhere....

There it is? Somewhere where he's stepping?

There it is! lol.

My little bro walking on water! He's two feet into the pond! lol.

A nice shot through the trees.

This one's my favorite! The path is supposed to be under that going over near the volley-ball court. I really like the reflections in this one, so I made it a bit bolder with the color contraster.

A safety cone-thing! lol

Guess how I took this shot! I like this one except for the really bad lens spot that I still need to deal with.

There is a path there......

  2. Lol. I guess that's my 2nd fav one. Do you think it would have looked better with a blue sky or with a sun-set? (though it's facing north)

I could always take one in that same spot for ya, haha.

  3. Wow, lots of water. I like the third to last one, makes you look like a creature from the black lagoon.:)

  4. I like all the reflection ones, especially the last one, there’s just something so cool about taking pictures at ground level; I even like how it’s kind of tilted. Did you do that on purpose?

  5. Lol Quad, that's my little brother. I specially took that shot to make it look like that. ;-)

@ Ruby (who said: "I like all the reflection ones, especially the last one, there’s just something so cool about taking pictures at ground level; I even like how it’s kind of tilted. Did you do that on purpose?"):
It's actually not tilted much (though it looks like it), the left side of the picture is a hill higher up so it makes it look more tilted than it is. It was a quick shot, so I didn't try to make it perfectly level or anything, lol.

  7. I like these. I prefer pictures taken on cloudy days to the ones on sunny days. Idk why.

  8. You can take some types of pics real well on a cloudy day, but I like ones with the sun it it or just enough sun that it activates the "sunset" setting on my camera to make it look more vivid best. :-)
