Icons

A few days ago I created some icons for a photography group on deviantART called "ThatPerfectMoment".
At first I used some cat pictures and added the group's name on it (which can be seen Here), but decided it was probably better to create blank icons that text can be added to later on.
Here are some of the one's I made, of course they look better small:

 

The purple flower on the left could have probably used better focus, lol.

Both of these shots are very nice in my opinion. I hope to add the full-size pictures very soon. :-D

Rivers and Flowers and Faces (oh my!)

Hey all! I've been in the picture taking and processing mood for the last week (but didn't get to those River pics till today, so the Beaches will be for next entry) and now you get to finally see them here! (yes....I've been neglecting this blog a bit and posting most of it on DeviantART)
Here are a few of my River pics first:

There's a story behind the shots of this flower. ;-D

The story is that I took them while I was weeding - I just happened to see an oddly beautiful weed that I thought would make a good photo - So I took the camera, set it to macro, and took a few quick shots before throwing the weed away. :-) Amazing all 3 shots I took are pretty decent and I was even able to see my preview screen, lol.

He was being funny. XD This was his pose for me.

This shot wasn't posed for, but it's the better of the two in my opinion. ;-D

Beach Hike Photos (One)

Hey all! I've been quite busy with everything about this page except the posting part, lol. I've added a couple new SideBar gadgets and even a page on Facebook! (I hope the extras don't slow down any of your browsers, if it does, please post something in the "Contact Me" page)

Speaking of Facebook, I added a bunch of new pics on there that I hadn't yet here, so this post is one a few that are going to fix that (minus the Facebook exclusive pics). Enjoy!

Most of these photos were taken on a hike along the beach some time in 2009. They look like dunes because they are, lol. It's pretty awesome to see dunes and ocean in the same shot. I've also been getting better at placing my watermarks, lol.

Lake and Mountain Photos

Here are some pictures from a camping trip my family went on in 2008. They're not the best quality in the world, I guess the less megapixel camera I used had it's effect.

One of my favorites. If you look close you can see people on the beach, lol.

The cloud/mist/lake combo here looks pretty cool.

Nice placement for the watermark, no? :-D

Very visible fog layer, it was pretty cool. (I was playing with watermark placement on this one, lol)

California mountains. :-)

These were really just snap-shots (I do those a lot), if I went here again I'd probably be able to take some better ones though who knows if the fog would be the same. ;-D

Recent Hike Photos!

I went to my sister's friend's birthday party yesterday and we went for a short hike up to a waterfall. Here's some shots I got (didn't get much of the falls, too misty for my camera lens). I'm still playing with my watermarking so they are a tad too dark.

The last two are from later in the day when we went to a culturally Danish town nearby. This set of pics is real cool because I really had very little time to take these shots and they turned out awesome!
